Remember that time we had a Grinchmas meal around Christmas and I said I was going to post about it….probably not because it was so long ago but here it is anyway just in time for Dr. Seuss’ Birthday…Also don’t mind the crappy iPhone photos!
Here was our menu:
To make the Grinch Punch, I used rainbow sherbet (you could use just green if you can find it) and green Hawaiian punch (you could use 7-Up or Sprite too but Brylee hasn’t had pop before so I wasn’t sure how she would do with the carbonation). To make the punch just combine the sherbet and juice. I think I did 5 or 6 scoops. Add sherbet to pitcher and top with juice. Let the sherbet start to melt and stir to combine before drinking.
I also spruced up our RePlay Recylced cups (in Grinch/Who themed colors of course) by dipping them in green frosting and then red sprinkles.
These were so easy but fun to make. I kept them simple with just green grapes, strawberries, mini marshmallows and a toothpick. (If your kiddo is to young for a toothpick just arrange them on their plate sans one.)
The Who Pudding was just white chocolate (instant) pudding in our Grinch/Who colored Snack Stacks.
I used this recipe for the roast beef-so good yet so easy. I also added carrots, potatoes, and celery. Funny story: to this day whenever we have a meat somewhat similar to roast beef Brylee automatically calls it “roast beast” and will eat it without complaints.
Here’s the final meal. Brylee still talks about this meal all the time. It was so much fun to do but didn’t take much more effort than a normal meal.
